We respect your privacy. This app is designed around on-device processing and does not upload your detection data to our own servers. Please read the following carefully.

1. Information we collect

We do not create accounts, and we do not operate our own backend to collect your personal information.

• Camera frames: Used only on this device, while you are measuring, to analyze ambient light / brightness changes. Frames are processed in memory. They are not uploaded to the developer’s servers, and video streams are not kept in the background for long-term storage.
• Detection history (optional): Only when you confirm “Save to History” do we write a result summary and a thumbnail to local storage on this device. You can delete them in the app at any time.
• Preferences and trial markers: We use on-device UserDefaults / Keychain to store onboarding completion, trial start time, and similar flags needed for the app to work.
• Purchases: Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are handled by the Apple App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive your card number. Apple may process transaction-related information under its own policies.

2. How we use information

• Camera data: only to compute flicker, color temperature, relative scene brightness, and related results shown in the UI.
• Local history: so you can review past measurements.
• Trial and entitlements: to decide whether the free trial is still valid and whether you have subscribed or purchased lifetime access.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Detection-related data is not transmitted to us except in these cases:

• You contact us by email and voluntarily include content in that message;
• Disclosure required by law or by a competent authority acting lawfully;
• Processing required for Apple In-App Purchase and related system services (provided by Apple).

4. Tracking and advertising

This app contains no ads, does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps.

5. Storage and security

History and preferences are stored locally on your device by default. Uninstalling the app may delete local data. Please protect your device with a system lock screen and other security features.

6. Children

This app is a general lighting / screen self-check reference tool. It is not directed at collecting data from children. If you believe a child contacted us with personal information without a guardian’s consent, email us and we will delete the relevant correspondence.

7. Your choices

• You can deny camera access in system Settings (measurement will not work without it).
• You can delete history records inside the app.
• You can manage or cancel auto-renewable subscriptions in system Subscriptions; for the lifetime purchase, use Restore Purchases.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the app means you understand the updated policy.
